Training heats up for this SwimEx Ironman. Things are really starting to heat up in training. August has been a tough month with a significant build that included 38,700 yards swimming, 148 miles running and 710 miles of biking. That brings my yearly training totals up to 208,374 yards of swimming, 1,061 miles of running and 4,442 miles of biking (491 hours of training). The Carolina Spine and Neurosurgery Center facility used aqua therapy in a SwimEx pool to help rehabilitate a high school football and basketball athlete. Back issues not only prevented him from playing sports but he also couldn’t even attend school due to prolonged sitting. This 400 OS pool owner in Connecticut had her pool installed in a barn type structure building to match the rest of the farm setting.
