Training heats up for this SwimEx Ironman. Things are really starting to heat up in training. August has been a tough month with a significant build that included 38,700 yards swimming, 148 miles running and 710 miles of biking. The Carolina Spine and Neurosurgery Center facility used aqua therapy in a SwimEx pool to help rehabilitate a high school football and basketball athlete. Back issues not only prevented him from playing sports but he also couldn’t even attend school due to prolonged sitting.
