Introducing the New SwimEx 170T:
Conditioning and Rehab Therapy at the same time
The newest addition to our SwimEx line is the 170-T physical therapy and reconditioning pool. With a water surface area of 6.5 x 12 feet, the 170-T is big enough for multiple patient sessions and versatile enough to allow aquatic therapy treatments & conditioning activities at the same time.
The concept behind the 170T is to provide the best features of our popular 600-T therapy pool with those of our large 1000-T conditioning pool. One end of the 170T offers a flat-bottomed depth of 5.5 feet customizable for conditioning activities. The other end provides 4.5 feet of depth for aquatic therapy, and features eight distinct workout stations including, plyometric pads, open and closed kinetic exercise benches and steps, and an angled running platform.
Both areas are customizable with accessories like our integrated motorized treadmill, and both are swept by our paddlewheel “wall of water” current which circulates up to 30,000 gallons of laminar flow per minute. SwimEx water current is adjustable to over 99 speeds and creates an ideal environment for strength training and functional activities during all phases of rehabilitation.
