SwimEx Introduces New programmable Monitor

SwimEx Programmable Monitor

Now you can have more control over your workout or swimming routine than you ever thought possible. The new SwimEx® Programmable Monitor lets you adjust current with finite precision, track elapsed or remaining time, set the current to automatically shut off when your routine is done, or save up to nine separate program routines with up to nine intervals each.

The Programmable Monitor mounts on any wall or surface near the front of the pool where it’s convenient for viewing. You simply set to activate your routine, enter the pool during the 30 second delay, and the monitor does the rest. The Programmable Monitor offers three modes of operation. In the first mode, you set the current to one of 99 different speeds and the timer shows elapsed workout time. In the second, timed mode, you set current speed, the time counts down time remaining and the monitor automatically shuts off the current when you are done.
But it’s the third, Custom Mode that really extends your SwimEx’s capability. Say you want to steadily increase resistance to push yourself during your workout, but you want to schedule a few breaks along the way. No problem. You can, for example, set the current at a
nice gentle speed for a few minute warm-up, then have it increase sequentially from, say, 40% to 50% to 60% at full speed for sprints of a specified duration, each with a few minute recovery time at a slower current in between. Each custom routine can include up to nine separate intervals, and with nine routines available, each family member can program and save their own custom workouts, available at the push of a button.
And should you ever push yourself a bit too hard and program a speed you can’t quite handle, or need to stop for any reason, the four air buttons in the pool are always available to override the monitor’s preset controls. Call Mike Arruda to find out more at 800-877-7946.
