SwimEx pools are manufactured of superior fiberglass composite construction and are actually bulletproof. Our above ground or inground fiberglass swimming pools are constructed of 1/8” fiberglass on each side of a 3/4” balsa wood core creating an insulating, strong, fiberglass “sandwich.” Fabrication of SwimEx pools is very similar to that of performance fiberglass boats.

All fiberglass pool sections have a finished surface made of gelcoat backed by a vinylester resin that creates an interior barrier against moisture absorption. All interior walking areas in the water are molded with a non-slip surface to allow for safe movement while in the SwimEx. The smooth gelcoat surface minimizes algae growth and can be cleaned and waxed to look like new.
