What SwimEx Handles and What the Project Team Handles
SwimEx manufactures the pool and supplies the associated SwimEx pool equipment.
For professional projects, an authorized partner installer sets the pool, makes the plumbing connections between the pool and SwimEx equipment, and commissions the system.
The architect and general contractor coordinate the pit and surround, site preparation, delivery access, rigging and lifts, and water and power runs from the building to the equipment. The architect or general contractor also manages permitting and compliance with applicable local codes, with assistance from SwimEx through specifications and planning information.
For residential projects, responsibilities may vary based on the selected model, installer, builder, and project conditions. Confirm responsibilities with SwimEx before construction and installation begin.
The applicable installation guide should be reviewed with all responsible parties before work starts.

Standard planning materials may include product architectural guidelines, pool cut sheets, sample installation overviews, and standard plumbing and electrical diagrams.
For custom pools, project-specific files are created as needed. Full submittals are provided following a fee or pool deposit.

Which Installation Guide Should I Use?
Use the guide that matches the selected pool category, model, and installation method.
Professional and residential models use different documentation. For example, the 400 OT and 500 OT are included in the one-piece professional guide, while the 400 OS and 500 OS are included in the one-piece residential guide.
Can I Use an Installation Guide Before Selecting a Model?
Installation guides can support preliminary evaluation, but final planning should use the current documentation for the selected model and configuration.
Pool dimensions, loads, equipment, utilities, clearances, delivery requirements, and installation methods may differ by model.
Are Installation Guides the Same as Full Project Submittals?
No. Installation guides provide standard model and installation information.
Full submittals may include additional documentation for an active project and are provided following a fee or pool deposit. Custom projects may also require project-specific files.
Who Should Review the Installation Guide?
For professional projects, the applicable guide should be reviewed by the architect, relevant engineers, general contractor, licensed trades, facility team, and authorized partner installer.
For residential projects, the guide should be reviewed by the homeowner or owner’s representative, architect or designer, builder, relevant engineers, licensed trades, and installer.
Each party remains responsible for the work within its scope and for compliance with applicable requirements and codes.
Can a SwimEx Pool Be Installed in an Existing Building or Home?
Yes, depending on the selected model and site conditions.
Certain professional and residential models can be delivered in sections and assembled within a prepared space. Feasibility depends on the delivery route, door and corridor clearances, structural conditions, available working space, utilities, and installation requirements.
Review the appropriate guide and involve SwimEx early in renovation or retrofit planning.
Can SwimEx Help Coordinate Pool Delivery and Offloading?
Yes. SwimEx works with authorized partner installers who can coordinate with the general contractor on delivery, offloading, pool placement, and installation planning. Quotes for installation are available upon request.
Where Can I Find Plumbing and Electrical Information?
Standard plumbing and electrical diagrams may be available as part of the planning materials after a model is selected.
Use current model-specific information for project coordination. Licensed project professionals and trades remain responsible for final building integration and code compliance.
Are CAD Drawings Available?
CAD drawings are available for all pool models.
